Vacation Weather

There is nothing worse than to go on vacation (or a business trip) and allow bad weather to ruin it for you.  Yes, I said allow.  You can't control the weather but the one thing you can always and forever control is your reaction to any given situation.

So what if it's raining!  Grab an umbrella and take a walk in it.  It will make you feel like a kid again.  Remember being young and playing outside in the rain?  It didn't matter you were getting soaking wet - thats half the fun of it!  If you're at a hotel and forgot your umbrella, call the front desk and ask to borrow one.  Umbrellas are an often forgotten item and there's a good chance there's a few in their lost and found room.

Heavy fog rolled in overnight and it's too dense to drive?  I love fog!  It has a creepiness to it.  Especially on the ocean where you can't see whats lurking just offshore but you can still hear the waves crashing.  Take a stroll along the beach or walk through town (on sidewalks of course).

Take whatever weather happens and enjoy it.  Buy a deck of cards and play, ask the front desk if they have games available, rent a movie, find the indoor pool or fitness center.  Do something fun!

Weather on vacations (business trips) has been on my mind today because of the tornadoes that struck Atlanta, GA last night.  CNN has pictures from somebody that was in town for a Dentist's Convention.  He had posted "i came to town for a dentist convention and got a free tornado".  I can't think of a single way to turn that into something good or fun.  My heart goes out to all those who were there and I am glad there has been no lives lost (as of posting this).  Atlanta is only 2 hours north of here and it's just been a year since Americus, GA was struck by a tornado.  Americus is a short 20 miles away.

It just had me thinking that weather is such an unknown at times.  You can't change it so you might as well make the best of any weather you get!

It is the most challenging to have these trips on bad weather days. Let alone if it pours the entire time that you are visiting that city!! But then again, thats when the real traveller in me takes charge. Not allowing myself to sulk or regret going on the trip. But on biz trips I suppose business as usual rain or shine. Oh well!!

It's very challenging to have a vacation during bad weather conditions. But I agree you and will prefer to visit some places which might suit during such weather conditions.

I think that to receive the credit loans from banks you ought to present a great reason. However, one time I've got a sba loan, just because I wanted to buy a car.
