Tyler, Texas

Last night I posted about the Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge  Tonight I would like to share some more pictures of  my trip to Tyler, Texas

When traveling with a group, a cabin or home rental is generally more economical.  You can get varying locations, varying number of bedrooms & baths, and a plethora of views.

The cabin we rented was located just outside Tyler, Texas.  It was located on the lake and even had a dock.  The views were beautiful each evening as we sat outside and drank margaritas on the porch!

If you look closely in the first picture you will see a hummingbird feeder hanging from the porch. We kept it filled with sugar water and we thoroughly enjoyed the hummingbirds that visited each morning! After that trip, I came home and bought feeders for my own porch

This trip is what we call a Posse Trip!  Several of us met online, on the HGTV Dream Home Message Board.  We travel together a couple times a year and we really enjoy the time we spend together.  We called ourselves The Posse on the message board and the name lives on in infamy   LOL!

The year we went to Tyler, Texas the HGTV Dream Home was open for tours and the winner had not yet been announced.  Since we had all met online, on the message board, we wanted to see at least one of the homes   The home was beautiful, but nothing compared to the moments we spent just chatting away.  We met several new people in Tyler that we had already known online.  It was an amazing trip!

Here are a few pics from the tour.

Traveling with a group is really the best way to go!  You get to share all the expenses and all the memories!  The memories you can carry with you a lifetime

Happy Travels!
