50 States = 50 Fun Things to do! Part One

Over the next 10 days I will feature all 50 states and at least one interesting place to visit there!  I will also provide you with a link to a Travel Guide for that state.  I'm doing this alphabetically and here's the first five states!

Alabama Bureau of Tourism & Travel
Nicely laid out site with links on the home page to request a free printed travel guide.  Don't forget to check the box so they will include a calendar of events!

Interesting place to visit:  Alabama Music Hall of Fame in Tuscumbia, Alabama.  Tuscumbia is also the birthplace of Helen Keller.
InTheHoleGolf.com has a complete selections of golf bags. Great pricing and free shipping on cart bags, stand bags, & travel bags.

Alaska Travel & Tourism
Arizona Office of Tourism
A fairly plain site without a link to a Travel Guide.  Searching further, I found one at ArizonaGuide.com and you can request it here.

Interesting place to visit:  London Bridge in Lake Havasu City.  Other things to do in Lake Havasu.
Cooltan Tan-Through Swimwear.

Arkansas Tourism
Nice site but high in graphics which may pose a long wait for dial-up users.  There is a link on the homepage for a Free Vacation Kit

Interesting place to visit:   Daisy Airgun Museum in Rogers, Arkansas.
NASCAR Every Race and Everything In Between...Only on SIRIUS

California Tourism
Another nice site but with some flash so not so dial-up friendly.  There is not a homepage link for a Travel GUide but you can order one here.

Interesting place to visit:  Wine Country (activities listed by region).

Try A Taste of California!

Happy Travels!
